Own one to understand one.
The Alfa Romeo does have a class of its own and stands out in the car park among the rest of the continental players such as the British, Germans and French, not forgetting the Swedish. The exterior style of the car itself deserves a second glance, while the interior has its own style of portray. As for the engine, it still has the "Alfa Roar" when being revved. The reliability of the engine is a thumb up; it goes on for long journeys with a sense of ease in mind. The stock handling is a "Pretty Good" issue, cornering of the car still feels agile and stable behind the wheel. Italian lunacy
You cant be a true petrol head if you never owned an alfa. The 147 is a great looking hatchback. The best looking hatch probably. The sound, looks, interior, is wonderful. Its a great place to be in, even though you are sitting in it at the side of the road because it broke down, its still great. This has that special X factor people look for in the car.
