I was hoping and dying for the singapore proton to bring in the R3 version and CPS engine. Sadly no.
Looking forward to the CPS model; especially since Proton has bumped up its bhp to 125, and has a maximum speed of 210. Moreover, Proton has also improved its oversteering issues with the existing model.
Nasty at low speed, Sometime have to drop 2 gears to overtake. Car stable at high speed though. Maybe due to the 1st version Campro engine which is famous for its torque dip at low speed. Exterior wise is excellent. Looks so sporty.1.3 is a pain in the xxx.
A powerful hatchback, a good 1.6 engine and handling is great!
Try modifications for more energy and power!
Crampy back seats but spacious front for 2.
Unlike the previous Satria the new interior a bit cramp. But performances and low profile handling makes up for it. Easy to modify with aftermarket accessories. Should include 1.8 version like the previous Satria GTI
