The 1.6A model is using the same engine as the Mini Cooper, producing 120bhp from the engine. Pickup speed is relatively quick and drive is spirited. Power comes in smoothly as well. However, the few gripes are that it's mated to a 4 speed gearbox whereby it should have performed much better with a 5 or 6 speed. Steering feel is less weighted, great news for the ladies but not for those who are looking to build their muscles from daily drives. The BMWs should provide better heavy weighted steering in this case, and for the Mini. However, the whole exterior and interior styling doesn't lose out to the Mini at all. Exterior comes with trendy daytime running lights, chrome accent kit, sporty fascia. Interior comes in especially fabulous. With sports seats decked in alcantara, providing decent support during drive. Futuristic speedometer likened to those you see in the Lexus IS250 etc.. The needles light up and "rev" before returning to the base, giving an additional sporty impression. The aircon unit comes with a special "perfume air freshener" socket whereby you can purchase air freshener sticks for your car without making it feel cheap, but adds on more class in fact. Very feature packed with bluetooth, cruise control, mp3 playback, etc... The drive will certainly not fail to impress. Try it and you'll know. Price is definitely worth every buck, especially after comparing to similar cars like the Mini.

Been eyeing this car since Jan 2011. Was pleased with the interior and exterior design. Flat bottom steering, attractive dash and sporty seats on the inside makes you still feel enjoyable even if the performance aren't that "wow".
Exterior of this car is kinda Cooper, but its more spacious and not retro.
I believe this car will still be a eye catcher in the next few years, even if veloster, ft86 comes to singapore
