Volkswagen Sharan

After driving 3 years of bmw 2 series GT. I needed more space. Got it before CNY, Sharan doesn't disappoint, with all 7 individual seats (5 backseats with isofix) up, still plenty of boot space unlike the 5+2 mini mpvs. The noise isolation also as good as my bmw. It also comes with 2 child booster seats built in, family ready. The head unit is dated with wired apple CarPlay and android auto with 6.33" Lcd but sufficient for my needs, resolution is ok and screen is bright. Still no auto folding side mirror. It's engine is definitely powerful with 200+ bhp n 350nm torque. Overtaking is a breeze. Sadly this car has been discontinued by VW. My car is 2020 stock (high line with huge sunroof). The SEAT Alhambra is the exact same car but has slightly cheaper interior (all black plastic). Booked one after test driving may cars, from the likes of alphard/vellfire to grand scenic/c4/touran. Must say this car has superior sound proofing compared to the rest. Has very powerful engine from the GTI!! Handling is impressive, only touran out handles this. Went for this instead of the alhambra due to the better deal SE gave. Must admit this is a similar car to the 2.0 Alhambra but different specs. This had a sunroof where alhambra did not. Did also try kodiaq but third row was too squeezy for adults.
