Best of both words
I think the best part about the RC350 is how Lexus has managed to create a car that balances sporty aggression without compromising on its creature comforts. The car is simply eye-catching to begin with, although I suspect it's not to everyone's taste. The drive is very linear, and it's not pressurising at all to pilot. I haven't had the chance to try a BMW M4 or the Audi RS5 but I like what I was driving.
Inputs from the steering, pedal feel and even the way the gearbox changes its shifts were all engineered to perfection and absolute precision. It's the kind of car you can take up to Sepang track and blast the balls out of it and still take a slow and relaxing drive home without feeling brokeback.
Perhaps it has got to do with the interior. Everything my hands could reach was filled with soft-touch surfaces, high-end leather and expensive plastic materials. There's hardly a time when I wasn't meddling with the surfaces inside the car because it leaves you wanting it more. I could hardly believe how luxurious Lexus has created this RC350 to be.
