The 520d is the most worthwhile model in the 5 Series line up. It has most of the tech you get in the higher end variants but costs a fraction of the price. The super refined engine pulls the car effortlessly and gets good fuel economy.
Interior build quality is superb, and with features like the 360 degree camera it is simply a joy to drive. There's not much else to say, it is truly an amazing car.

The BMW 5 Series Diesel performs really well on the road. It's got engaging handling and feels surprisingly nimble despite its size.
The interior is refined with premium materials all around. It's also comfortable, with good suspension and minimal wind noise and engine noise.
Infotainment on this thing is top-notch. I thought gesture control would be gimicky but it's surprisingly convenient. It also has plenty of connectivity features.
