My first encounter with the Volkswagen Arteon was at the cars at expo, i was astounded by the features and build quality, the boot size was phenomenal, apparently made for golf bags, it was flat and long, so it would make a good car to transport furniture. Its very stylish too.

When i first saw the car, the exterior design captures me. It looks sleek and sporty. And the performance specs has all the writings of a performance car. It was a totally different design from the usual sedan. Its a sportback.
As i opened the door, the frameless windows caught my eye. Its a trademark of a sports car. Sitting inside, being tall, it has no problem fitting myself with lots of rear legroom for my rear passenger.
Once inside, the virtual cockpit display is a wow. Also the touchscreen cum gesture control head unit. It was modern. Another thing i notice was the frameless rear view mirror. It looks very sleek and blends into the interior.
The drive was smooth. No hesitation on acceleration at all. The rev and speedo simply climbs as fast as u depress the accelerator. It was a quiet drive, excellent noise and vibration dampering. The only sound noticeable was from the exhuast as i put my foot down. Very reassuring drive, being a 4 wheel drive. Making a u-turn was effortless, turning radius was good.
