Consumer Reviews
Collected my car on the 10th of May. So far things have been smooth sailing as nothing major have cropped up.
However, the Lexus/Toyota quality is starting to get questionable. It's no wonder they changed the company slogan from "The Pursuit of Perfection" To "Experience Amazing".
My car still have unresolved issues with the accelerator clicking noise, driver and passenger door creaking, and driver door mirror rattling. Being in the Lexus UX group, not everyone faces the problems as I do - which questions the consistency of Lexus's quality control before the car leaves the factory. I will further monitor and update the review on how the dealership rectifies them.
Nevertheless, the UX is an excellent car in many aspects. The drive is quiet (apart from the accelerator clicking noise and mirror rattling) as sound proofing from wind and road noise is sufficiently good for a car of its class. The seats are comfortable too. The stock sound system is also decent and i've not faced any other major problems. In terms of space, the rear quarters are quite cramped due to the car's slopping roof. Fortunately, my build is small and I don't sit too far back while driving. Do take note if you have bulky child seats that need to be rear facing as it will mean you have to seat further forward. Another excellent feature is the standard Lexus Safety System+ that is included, as well as the automatic kick boot feature that adds convenience.
Do note that markets around SEA have Lane Tracing Assist omitted.
