It's a compact SUV, which is smaller than a standard SUV. Overall it is a basic car, so did not expect it to be powerful, but it is more than sufficient on Singapore road. Driving experience is very comfortable with enough legroom for the front, only that I find the interior height is slightly lower compared to my previous ride which is a Sedan car, Civic FD. The space for back row seats might be a little small for bigger size passengers. Exterior of Yaris Cross looks really good, but the interior is quite basic. Fuel consumption is good. On average is around 16Km/l, but depends on city or highway. With about 70%~80% Highway per trip, I can get up to 19~20km/l.
Mini SUV. Look big from the outside but small in the inside. Back row seat might not be comfortable for big size passenger as leg room was quite limited. Engine while moving over sound like a commercial vehicle, kind of rough sound. But while on average speed, comfortable level is there, quite silent. Saw few review that past few Toyota model can hear outside sound while driving as if window is not closed. But didn't happen on Yaris Cross. On average 1 full tank of petrol about 38L, manage to cover around 450km to 500km, depend on how heavy your foot is and the road condition (Highway or City drive). Fuel consumption was slightly higher due to 16inch rim. The bigger the rim, the higher the consumption.
