Consumer Reviews

Compact crossovers such as the 2025 Honda CR-V are in high demand, as they offer comfortable seating, decent fuel efficiency, and an easy-to-park profile. Honda's cheerful entry in this competitive SUV segment earns its place at the top of our list because it also offers agile handling to accompany its practicality. Equipped with front- or all-wheel drive and a 190-hp turbocharged engine, the nonhybrid CR-V is reasonably powered; We review the 204-hp hybrid version separately. While the Mazda CX-50 offers more luxury and the Ford Bronco Sport is more capable off-road, the CR-V is a better all-arounder for its pleasant driving dynamics, solid build quality, and just-right balance of infotainment knobs and screens. For these reasons and more, we named the CR-V to our 10Best Trucks and SUVs list for 2024, and we gave it a 2024 Editors' Choice award. It won't be a surprise if this vehicle earns a place once again.

Saw this new CRV sometime in April 2024 but that time only have showroom car.
Recently have the test drive one, so went by to try it. Comes in 5 and 7 seaters, in which 7 seaters have panaromic sunroof, 18 inches wheels, paddle shifters, auto rain sensors, additional smart keycard and some other minor ones too.
First looks, it does certainly look better than its predecessor with a more calm and less garang.
Interior is a new finishing with a comforting settings. Both variant comes with auto headlights while only 7 seaters come with auto rain sensors which I do not understand the rational to this. Have both front electric seats and electric tailgate too.
Drive off is easy where you engage and go. At normal mode was already responsive to throttle and feeling the gear change is not sluggish too.
Honda sensing is there in full suite to aid your driving safety too, nice one.
At SPORTs mode, the engagement was not really there when you want to overtake or enjoy the drive further as its a little sluggish.
Parking was easy but could not recall if there is a auto tilt mirror feature.
Overall, for its new looks, its a reasonable SUV to get (by not looking at its exponential price now due to COE), but if you can accept the uplifted boot in the 7 seaters, its more worthwhile to get for a minor top up.
