Chanced upon this car and was intrigued by its design especially with its gull wings doors. I didn't even know the brand! Thought it was a model X. Coincidentally I chanced upon it at the road show at VivoCity. Thus checked the car in detailed and was amazed by its size and design. Arranged for a test drive shortly at Leng Kee. Little did I know China EV has caught up so much. I don't remember I enjoyed Tesla model Y as much as this! And the next I knew, I put an order for it!
HT luxury with gull wings and auto doors
Full nappa leather. 520km range
22 speakers. Midnight rose
Finally made the switch to an EV. Couple of areas that I watched out when buying a chinese EV car; the reliability of both the local distributor and car manufacturer. Both Vincar and Aion are brands that can be trusted. During the test drive and purchase, the sales rep (Lizhen, highly recommended) was helpful and patient. Post purchase, she ensured that all my concerns were addressed and replied timely every time. Purchased the car as I fell in love with it during the test drive and have owned it for a month (as of this review).
Overall, the car is enjoyable to drive though there are a couple of quality issues to be sorted out (internal resonating sound).
