Seat are back. Or what used to be a Seat, anyway. CUPRA has broken its chains and become a lone wolf in the performance segment. This is the Tavascan, and it shares its platform with the Škoda Enyaq, VW ID.4 and Audi Q4 e-tron.
Inside you'll find yourself in a whole new world. There's lots to like about this car, especially the beautiful ambient lighting integration in the doors and the dashboard. The gaming-inspired centre console is a bold direction for interior design. It may look weird at first, but it grows on you slowly. There's plenty of adjustment for the seats and it's soft, plush and comfortable. It's relatively decent for 3 in the back, and there's enough headroom and legroom for all. This car is zippy - the acceleration is something to behold. You can easily find yourself hitting the back of your seat if you floor it. It's a really fun thing to drive. It floats around but at the same time, you have the option to change the stiffness of the suspension to your liking.
If you're after a fun, sporty SUV with enough space for the family, CUPRA's resurgence might just be the answer.
