Big Bottle of Nope
Elon Musk worked hard to revolutionize the auto industry. Problem was he skipped a few forms of natural car evolution. While the Tesla really couldn't make it, as a luxury marquee it had the fit & finish as well as stood out in the luxury car segment. Driving it was another affair as well - you just couldn't come back to enjoy normal cars after zipping around. However, it was still too much to accept - especially range anxiety. When you're all out of juice, how would you charge? For the existance of all the powerbanks in the country, we still don't have a portable solution to ease range anxiety for electric cars. Fisker Karma was the first good solution to that. However, practically speaking, getting a Hybrid car offered you the best of both worlds and was a ton cheaper. What exactly are you subscribing to in the i3? It's still not fully electric with the Range Extenders - you still have a carbon output. It's not exactly "luxury car" given the size and uselessness. So at 200+k, what statement are you trying to make? I would wait for the i8. Buying this and I'd might as well add "a fool and his money are soon parted" doormat to my landed property. Get a hybrid instead.... Read More
