Editorial Reviews
What we like
Generous amount of power and torque
Handles like a sporty hatch
Decent range of 250-260km
Funky design
Great cargo space of 435 litres
What we don’t like
Lump in second row
CHAdeMO system
It's a $160,300 Nissan hatchback that you can't fast-charge in public for now

The pioneer of EV technology
This is the first mass market electric car sold in the world when it first launched, making it a good choice EV buyers. They had time to improve and refine the car for this second generation model and the drive is vastly improved compared to the first gen model. The power output is strong with 148 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Acceleration Is very smooth and quiet and ride quality is also on the softer side. Exterior design looks great despite the age and... Good and reliable
Have been driving it for 3 years. So far so good. Even though the look is outdated, it still performance well. Very economical 14kWh/100km. @30cents/kWh that is $4.2/100km. For average 600km per tank of ICE car, that is $24/tank. Pickup speed is 8seconds from 0-100km/h.
Comparison: The BYD seal is doing 18kWh/100km. Good car for running around if you have charger as it is 300km range only. Thats also a good idea as you don't need to carry that extra heavy battery around that comes with longer range EV. Just tested the Seal because of look, but there is no clear advantage for getting one. The battery health after 3 years is still 100%. Caveat is I use a home charger not a fast charger.... Read More
