Citroen will unveil a new production model of its luxury DS brand at the Beijing Auto Show later this month. The French carmaker has released a teaser image of the new model, revealing the shape of the taillights, which are different from the ones seen on the concept car.
The main 'suspect' is the production version of the DS Wild Rubis SUV study unveiled last year in Shanghai, as Citroen has said it would launch an SUV in China in the second half of this year.
The DS crossover is rumoured to receive the X7 nameplate and is said to be available with three petrol engines - a 200bhp 1.6-litre turbo, a 163bhp 1.6-litre turbo and a 139bhp naturally aspirated 1.8-litre unit. Based on the same platform as the Citroen DS5 and DS5LS, the DS X7 will be built in China by the Changan-PSA joint venture.
