Citroen to revive 2CV name

Citroen has officially confirmed that it will be reviving the 2CV name.

The firm states that it will add a new model into its lineup that will take on the historic name, designed to make mobility accessible to all. Better still, it adds that this new 2 CV (with spacing now added) will reinterpret the original 2CV's embrace of simplicity and ingenuity for a new generation.

Also promised for this new 2 CV is the fact that it will embrace values including affordability, lightweight design, practicality, versatility, all while brimming with distinctive character unlike anything else on the road.
