12 Apr 2016|3,254 views
Subaru will attempt to set a new Isle of Man lap record with a heavily-modified WRX STI.
Specially developed with Prodrive, the modified WRX STI features a body kit that includes a new front bumper with wide air dams, side skirts, a rear air diffuser, flared fenders and a massive wing.
Piloting the car will be Mark Higgins. He currently holds the lap record of 19 minutes and 15 seconds, set back in 2014 in a completely stock WRX STI. Subaru expects the modifications to the car to help break the 19-minute barrier.
The new lap record attempt will take place right before the 2016 Isle of Man TT, which starts on 28th May.
