Renault has presented the keys of its 50,000th ZOE to a customer living in Paris, France. Every three minutes, someone switches from an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicle to an Electric Vehicle (EV), and Renault is proud to drive this change with the ever-innovative Renault ZOE.
Since its launch three years ago, the Renault ZOE has now become Europe's best-selling electric hatchback. Since 2013, Renault has been the only carmaker in the industry to have a complete all-electric vehicle range with models such as the Kangoo Z.E, Twizy and ZOE. The EV market has grown exponentially since then, with an expansion of 48 percent worldwide in 2015. A total of 18,500 Renault ZOE vehicles were sold last year, reaching a 20 percent market share in Europe.
The Renault ZOE has also achieved a superior customer satisfaction statistic of 98 percent.
