Commuters have been complaining of slow service on the North-South and East-West Lines during the morning peak hour on Tuesday, 27th June.

Commuters took to social media during the morning peak hour on Tuesday (27th June) with complaints of slow train service along the North-South and East-West Lines.

Those affected said that train services at Clementi station, as well as from Jurong East station to Joo Koon station were slow, with some saying it took almost an hour to get from Jurong East to Joo Koon, which are five stops apart.

As of 9:00am, SMRT had not made any announcements on its Twitter account or Facebook page. The Straits Times understands that there was a train fault at Tuas Link station along the East-West Line, as well as a train with a stuck brake along the North-South Line.
