Honda British Touring Car Championship drivers Matt Neal and Dan Cammish will be hoping to turn encouraging signs into solid results in the third meeting of the year at Thruxton on 19 May. Since becoming Honda's official BTCC team in 2010, Team Dynamics, which runs the Halfords Yuasa Racing squad, has enjoyed more success at Thruxton than any other track, winning 11 races.
And at the pre-race test held last month, the Civic Type R of Cammish topped the times around the fastest circuit in the championship. The team also heads to the Hampshire circuit on the back of encouraging results in the previous rounds at Donington Park.
Neal scored his first podium of the season with second place in race two, and the team extended its points lead in the manufacturer championship. Neal is keen to take one step up the top of the podium, having won at the Thruxton meeting a year ago, while teammate Cammish is determined to get his season going having been denied strong finishes by unlucky breaks in the races held so far.
