Guests had the opportunity to sleep alongside the production line at Modena to mark the end of production for the Maserati GranTurismo.

Production of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio - one of the most iconic cars of the brand - comes to an end, and to mark the occasion Maserati opened the doors of its historic site in Viale Ciro Menotti for an exclusive night-time event. A selection of guests had the opportunity to listen to original stories and sleep alongside the production line.

Guests had the chance to hear first-hand accounts of the past, present and future of Maserati at the night-time event
At the Maserati plant they had the chance to hear a first-hand account of the past, present and future of the brand. Ermanno Cozza, who has been with Maserati for over 60 years, told the story of the brand and recalled fascinating episodes from his life with the company, in close contact with great champions and wonderful cars.

Rossella Guasco, Colours and Materials Manager at the Centro Stile, spoke about the shapes, colours and style details of Maserati's cars. And finally, engineer Federico Landini, who is in charge of developing the future high-performance sports car models, told his stories about the innovation and the future of the brand and took guests into the realm of technological research.

Having listened to these bedtime stories, the guests then slept in special bedrooms set up for the occasion on the assembly line between the bodyshells of Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio and the special Maserati GranTurismo Zeda, the car created to celebrate the last day of production.

The Modena factory, the home of Maserati for 80 years, is a magical place that combines the Maserati heritage and 'made in Italy' DNA along with a strong drive towards the future and innovation. It is in this very place that the long-awaited new super-sports car planned for 2020 will be built. Major modernisation is already under way on the production line, to also accommodate for the electric version, as well as the construction of a new paint line.
