Lexus has revealed the first undisguised pictures of the upcoming RZ fully-electric SUV in prototype form.
Built upon the firm's e-TNGA platform, the RZ will be Lexus' first purpose built electric vehicle, following from the UX300e, which was built on the original platform of the UX intended for combustion engine propulsion first.
The platform is shared with the Subaru Solterra and the Toyota bZ4X, so we can expect at least a battery of 71.4kWh capacity, coupled with the option to get an all-wheel drive variant with 214bhp via electric motors at both axles. Expect maximum charging speed via alternating current to stand at 6.6kW, while a maximum charging speed via direct current of 150kW is likely.
