Peugeot has introduced a host of updates to its 2008 model range. Peugeot's entry level 2008 trim will be renamed Active Premium+, which features gloss black roof rails and dark tinted rear and rear side window. This is complemented by the gloss black strip at the rear of the car, enhancing the 2008's design.

The previous Allure Premium models will be changed to Allure Premium+, now benefitting from subtle design changes for a new look. The pedals are also now finished in aluminium. Allure Premium+ variants also gain Connected 3D Navigation which includes a three-year subscription to Connected Navigation Pack services. This includes speed camera alers and real-time traffic updates for more convenient journeys.

The 2008 range will continue to offer the fully electric or highly efficient petrol powertrains. Besides the efficient and advanced 1.2-litre PureTech engines, customers can opt to go full electric and zero emissions with the e-2008. The car is powered by a 50kWh battery and 100kW electric motor for up to 344km of range. It also supports up to 100kW rapid charging, with 0-80% charge taking just 30 minutes.
