The Maserati GranTurismo returns as a beautifully proportioned Italian coupe, but now with V6 Nettuno and fully electric powertrain options to choose from.

The much-loved Maserati GranTurismo is back. As before, the new GranTurismo will combine the performance of a sports car with high levels of comfort suitable for long distances.

The new model will now come with options of both an internal combustion engine and another fully electric variant. The fully electric GranTurismo will also be the first model in the brand's history to have a 100% electric powertrain.

Fans of the previous generation GranTurismo will be pleased to see that the classic proportions of the Italian coupe has not been lost
In terms of design, the GranTurismo has retained its classic proportions, with the long bonnet and the central body intersected by the four fenders. Conversely, the roof line drops dynamically to emphasise the curve of the pillar that features the iconic Trident logo.

Developed at the Maserati Innovation Lab and produced at the Mirafiori manufacturing hub in Turin, the GranTurismo is entirely made in Italy.

The new coupe is equipped with the 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno engine, available in two versions: the Modena, with 483bhp, and an even more hardcore Trofeo version with the same engine, upgraded to a maximum power of 542bhp.

The Stradale version of the GranTurismo will have an uprated Nettuno engine producing 542bhp
The GranTurismo Folgore adopts a 100% electric powertrain. The Folgore system is based on 800V technology and has been developed with cutting edge technical solutions derived from Formula E. It offers superb performance, made possible by the three powerful 300kW permanent magnet motors.

The battery has a capacity of 92.5kWh and a discharge capacity of 560kW, to continuously transmit 750bhp to the wheels. The specific set up and innovative layout of the battery result in the containment of vehicle height to 1,353mm, without compromising vehicle dynamics.

In terms of technical architecture, the new model is the result of an innovative project that makes extensive use of lightweight materials such as aluminium and magnesium, together with high-performance steel. This has resulted in best-in-class weight levels.

The fully electric Folgore variant makes an immense 750bhp from its batteries, propelling the GranTurismo into supercar territory
The GranTurismo also offers an 'all-round sound experience' by the iconic signature sound of the Maserati engine.

This is also present in the electric version thanks to innovative work by engineers at the Maserati Innovation Lab. The sound experience is completed by the immersive Sonus faber 3D sound system.

At launch, the GranTurismo is also available in the PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary Launch Edition, a limited series featuring exclusive content and dedicated to its recent 75th anniversary.
