The new Citroen C4 will make its debut in our sunny tropics after a hiatus of two years. The five-door hatchback will be fitted either with a petrol powered 1.6-litre THP 155 or diesel powered 1.6-litre e-HDi 115. Both powertrains will be linked to a six-speed transmission and equipped with a Stop & Start System.
The e-HDi variant cuts fuel consumption by 15 percent while emitting only 109g/km - thus becoming the first diesel powered passenger car from Citroen to enjoy a S$15,000 CEVS rebate whereas the petrol variant emits 148g/km, good for a S$5,000 CEVS rebate.

The Airdream label is only offered to vehicles who meet three stringent criteria. Firstly, the cars must not emit more than 140g of CO2 per kilometre. Secondly, they must be produced in an ISO 14001 certified plant and lastly the car is 95 percent recoverable.
Expert craftsmanship has been applied to meet the highest of standards. For example the roof lining is made from jersey fabric while cool satin chrome details the steering wheel controls, air-conditioned vents and the transmission shifter.
Enjoy your ride in the C4 through a soundproof cabin that reduces vibrations and reduces noise while on the move. Audio entertainment is enhanced with a central storage compartment that houses a jack, USB port and Bluetooth kit. Enjoy your favourite tunes through a standard surround system featuring new technology for maximum listening pleasure. Boot space in the Citroen C4 has been maximised at 408 litres while smart storage solutions allow the C4 occupants to store their luggage while commuting in comfort.
Safety is not overlooked as the C4 is equipped with six airbags surrounding the cabin and child safety features such as ISOFIX anchor points and an electric child lock. The usual slew of safety features like anti-lock braking system and Hill Start Assist calls for a safe and stable ride and vehicle control under the most delicate driving situations.

The e-HDi is also the first Airdream variant in Singapore. Airdream is Citroen's own eco-label that was conceived back in 2007 to produce cars with minimal emissions. With the CEVS scheme set to kick off in 2013, Citroen through Cycle & Carriage France is planning to introduce more Airdream equipped vehicles here.
