The standard Ford Focus RS is already the most powerful hot hatch in its class, with its standard 2.5 litre five-cylinder turbocharged engine producing a remarkable 300bhp. But German tuners Loder1899 clearly felt that it wasn’t enough, giving it a tuning package that increases the output by 45bhp.

Loder1899, who specialises in tuning Fords, has given the Focus RS a new stainless-steel exhaust system, in a Y-pipe form and fitted with a silencer, to provide an even deeper exhaust note than the standard RS.

According to Loder1899, the new exhaust system alone adds 20bhp to the RS's performance, with a new air filter and other accessories account for the rest. The suspension has also been lowered by 35mm, and Loder1899’s own 20-inch "Vertigo Viginti" wheels are included as well.
