Stamford Tyres offers lifetime pledge for Continental tyres

Stamford Tyres International Pte Ltd, an authorised distributor of Continental tyres in Singapore, today announced the introduction of Continental's "Tyre Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty" for all Passenger and Light Truck (PLT) tyres.

This initiative underscores Continental’s commitment to product quality and customer assurance, with Stamford Tyres supporting the programme's rollout in the Singapore market.

Replacing the previous five-year manufacturer's warranty, the new Tyre Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty for Continental’s PLT tyres covers protection against manufacturing defects throughout the tyre's operational lifespan and ensures every tyre meets the highest standards of material and workmanship.

This initiative aims to provide Singaporean drivers with peace of mind and maximum confidence in all their journeys with Continental. Most importantly, this new Tyre Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty is also retrospectively extended to all eligible PLT tyres purchased prior to this announcement.

And to provide customers with additional confidence, Continental will continue to offer protection under its Road Hazard Warranty, which provides 12 months of coverage from the date of purchase against unexpected road damages, when purchases are registered.

Together, both warranties help to ensure that customers need not worry about the tyre's manufacturing date, as both coverages collectively safeguard its quality, performance, and reliability throughout its operational lifespan.

Claims under this warranty will be accepted only after inspection by an accredited Continental representative or authorised retailer. Any adjustment will be prorated based on the average unused remaining tyre tread depth (RTD), calculated from the original tread depth down to the legal minimum of 1.6mm. Proof of purchase is required for all claims under this policy.
