Bicycle motocross, skating, drag racing and drifting. These are just some of the adrenaline pumping activities taking place at the Mettle Games this weekend and the next from Friday to Sunday. Athletes from US, France, Spain, Singapore, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong will be competing in front of an expected crowd of 70,000.

The games have backing from international bodies such as Asian Extreme Sports Federation, the World Rolling Series and the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation.

The events will be staged at venues across the island at Xtreme Skatepark @ East Coast, SKI360, Pit Building, Singapore Flyer and Wave House Sentosa.

Entry to the first three days of Mettle Games will be free. For next week, tickets will be required. Early-bird tickets (from now till Sunday) cost $10 for a one-day pass and $15 for three days. Tickets can be purchased through AXS stations and at www.mettlegames.com

After the promotion period, tickets will be priced at $15 for one day and $25 for three days and will be sold at the Pit Building from Nov 5 onwards. The same rates apply for tickets to SG Stomping concerts.
