Sprint Fest 2023 brought an adrenaline-filled motorsports display to the idyllic Palawan Green beachside area at Sentosa over the weekend of 22 - 23 July.
Featuring the 2023 Motor Sports Singapore (MSS) Auto Gymkhana Championship Round 1, attendees of Sprint Fest will get to spectate a display of cutting-edge driving skills. The Gymkhana format of races typically see cars manoeuvring between cones in a tight area - not only does it call for razor-sharp precision, but it often requires drivers to slide their cars in order to complete the course.
Gymkhana runs require razor-sharp skills - manoeuvring between cones in such a tight area is no simple feat!
Running concurrently with the Gymkhana Championship is the driver selection to represent Singapore in the FIA Motorsport Games - Asia Pacific in Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, and you can see why all the participants brought their A-game to the event.
Apart from the tyre-smoking, engine-revving, adrenaline pumping action, Sprint Fest also combined the motorsports action with carnival-like festivities. The large area featured stalls that served gourmet food and drinks, including tasty burgers, pasta and trending dishes such as Croffles to ensure no one leaves with an empty stomach.
A stage along with plenty of tables and seats were set up to allow attendees to have a comfortable spot to enjoy their food. Live music and alcohol are also available towards the evening of both days, creating a laid-back and enjoyable experience.
If you are someone who enjoys watching loud performance cars kicking up clouds of tyre smoke, or enjoy chomping down tasty food and beverages, Sprint Fest is the event for you, and you should keep an eye out for the next instalment!
