Pricing is reasonable for this range of power and torque is good. Suspension is slightly on the firm side and will give a better control during cornering. Plus FC not bad.

Rented one from Paris to west coast of France, around 500km in 4 hours, plus a bit of driving in Paris suburbs.
The car looks up to date among the other urban SUV. Exterior is nicer than interior where convoluted plastics are cheap hard stuff. More style than substance. The front seats are too short for long distance driving. The rear bench is ok for 2 adults or 3 children. There is plenty of space for the legs. The booth is pretty big considering the size of the car.
The engine is ok around town but power runs out above 80km/h and picking up speed beyond that is painfull. This engine is not exciting and creates a lot of vibration at highway speed in the floor and through the very tiny steering wheel. The gearbox is adequate for the engine.
That tiny wheel does not make for a smooth ride. It is too sensitive. This is not a sport car. Handling is limited by the cg height and the choice of cheap m+s tyres that lack traction even on the dry. I do not want to get that car off road. The seat and suspension are pretty hard and with the jerky steering do not make for a comfortable ride.

To be honest, this car is lovely. It's wonderful to drive, great interiors, comfortable ride. As a machine, other than the low fuel efficiency, nothing much to complain about. Why 1 star for all categories though? Because the dealer in Singapore for Peugeot stinks. You will die from frustration dealing with them. Getting a car is supposed to make your life easier. Getting a car from AutoFrance? Well, be prepared for a nightmare.
They handed us a faulty car and now after two months, repeated trips to the workshop, the problem is still not fixed and no one in autofrance has been able to even tell us what's wrong with the car.

Collected my ride within one month, first COE bid successful.
Being driving around for nearly 3 weeks now.
Previous ride was a 9 year old Japanese crossover.
Have to say, 2008 is surprisingly very easy to drive on the road. The torquey engine suits city driving, power is there when needed. Size is only slightly bigger than Jazz, makes parking easy and trouble free in most carparks. Cabin space is better than Jazz but lost out to XV. Boot space is decent for 2 - 3 luggages, is better than XV but lacks the versatility of QQ. As it is Active trim, the infotainment system is not as feature rich compared with XV and QQ ( lack of reverse camera, lack of navigation).
Have to mention that the service level from Joan Ang is patient and not pushy, and willing to get answers for difficult technical questions.
