A good entry level car for the city
Rented one from Paris to west coast of France, around 500km in 4 hours, plus a bit of driving in Paris suburbs.
The car looks up to date among the other urban SUV. Exterior is nicer than interior where convoluted plastics are cheap hard stuff. More style than substance. The front seats are too short for long distance driving. The rear bench is ok for 2 adults or 3 children. There is plenty of space for the legs. The booth is pretty big considering the size of the car.
The engine is ok around town but power runs out above 80km/h and picking up speed beyond that is painfull. This engine is not exciting and creates a lot of vibration at highway speed in the floor and through the very tiny steering wheel. The gearbox is adequate for the engine.
That tiny wheel does not make for a smooth ride. It is too sensitive. This is not a sport car. Handling is limited by the cg height and the choice of cheap m+s tyres that lack traction even on the dry. I do not want to get that car off road. The seat and suspension are pretty hard and with the jerky steering do not make for a comfortable ride.... Read More
