The Car of Afterthoughts
I took ownership of the Renault Kangoo (Kangoo II Express 1.5L DCI 90 BHP MT 6 DR) on 4/9/17, today is Christmas day 2017, and I've driven it for a good 112 days and 8439km so far.
The Renault commercial dealership was pathetically poor at customer service. Missed out all 6 bids of COE, and a few weeks later, they called us back telling us they had one for $75,800; So we got it. They gave a free sofa, interior carpeting (all round), reverse sensors, and a cheap in-car camera, 10 pieces of $1.20 parking coupons, a cashcard, and an umbrealla.
The car is one of many afterthoughts. It is probably meant to be a left-hand drive in its actual life, but was adopted for RHD. It feels as though it was designed to be a great car, but because it is a commercial vehicle, they left many many things out.
Things you'd like to know:
- It is easier to drive than it looks (LWB doesn't make it difficult)
- Consumption (I always track):15.39km/L
Summary:
Kangoo is ambitious, but moderately rubbish
