Sheer Driving Pleasure
This car immediately comes to mind when BMW is mentioned. And that for a good reason too. The BMW 3 Series is one of BMW's most important models, and I had the pleasure of finding out why when I visited a dealer for a test drive.
It's a relatively well built car, though it is stripped for the Singapore market to meet price points. Soft touch just about everywhere, even down in the doorbins where you'll find that it is relatively softer than hard plastics. The drive is where it really gets fun. The steering is sharp, it's agile, it's comfortable, it puts a smile on your face. Pop it into sport mode and the steering tightens up, the ride gets firmer and you can really feel a connection with the car. Ingress and egress is quite difficult, as it sits pretty low to the ground which means you have to get quite a weird position in order to enter. But once that's done you're seated comfortably in the seats and there's no problem. Space at the back is on the slightly decent end, but there's absolutely no problem with four.
