The Volkswagen T-Cross may be the smallest SUV in the marque's lineup, but - in terms of drive and style - it has sufficient breath to keep up with the pack.

Looks properly aggressive
Compact size makes it easy to navigate around tight areas
The Volkswagen T-Cross is one handsome number, complete with a strong front thanks to that grille, angular lights, sizable bumpers, and the very in-trend full-width taillights.
This Volkswagen T-Cross comes with compact dimensions, a boxy exterior, a line of attractive colours, throw in a few wild rims, and it's not hard to see what this car is all about.
It's small, squarish, chunky and all-round handsome. What's there not to like?
If you're all about arriving in style in your compact crossover, this Volkswagen T-Cross is the one to get, and possibly the only one that has real road presence and is distinctive enough to stand out from the pack.
I'm told that the T-Cross is built on the same base as the Polo. Well, it definitely is a bigger car, unlike the older Mercedes-Benz GLA which was clearly a raised A-Class with some minor design changes, the T-Cross is a vastly different car from the Polo.
It has this unique and cool design, which is quite boxy and special. The T-Cross is also a visibly larger car than the Polo, which makes it more practical as well.
As an entry level VW, the interior of the T-Cross is obviously not very luxurious, it ha plenty of hard plastics which makes it look rather economical but the fit and finish is pretty nice. Now, one of the things that I really like is its NVH, despite being a small SUV, the ride was comfortable and not harsh at all.
While the VW 1.0l engine are rather powerful for its size, it feels a little laboured for it to power a small SUV, the 3 cylinder engine don't really sound that good as well. In my opinion the T-Cross would be a better car with a larger and more powerful engine.
