Impressive old dog now comes with new tricks.
The first-generation HR-V was ubiquitous on Singapore roads, largely due to its appeal to both consumers and PHV fleet operators alike. Unassuming and practical, it was a pleasant surprise that the 2nd generation HR-V kept all the good things that made the 1st gen so ubiquitous and made the new one desirable. It has new bold lines on the front, sporty silhouette from the side, and its sleek lines on the rear screams like an offspring between the Toyota Harrier and a Porsche. Inside, it's minimalist now, which is even better for practicality (which rules the roost in Singapore since most households will only own one car - therefore a balance between desirability and practicality is important here). When combined with typical Honda reliability, these are several things going for the HR-V, which is why I vote this car as my Car of the Year.... Read More
