Jaguar has presented its expansion plan for the F-TYPE portfolio for 2016 - including new driveline and powertrain options. The current model lineup, which consists of six models, will now be expanded to 14 models.
One of the highlights of the new range is the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) option. With torque on demand technology, the 542bhp AWD F-TYPE R Coupe will launch from 0 to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds. At the same time, the coupe's dynamic capability on all road surfaces and in all conditions will be greatly enhanced.
On the outside, an F-TYPE model with AWD can be distinguished via its unique bonnet design that features a deeper 'power bulge' and new vents. For the purest sports car driving experience, the supercharged V6 models in rear-wheel drive configuration will also come with a six-speed manual transmission option.
At the same time, the F-TYPE R Convertible, available in both all-wheel and rear-wheel drive configurations, will replace the V8 S Convertible.
