Your next parcel could soon arrive via an electric van, if it gets shipped by DHL that is.
The new electric commercial vehicles will ply Singapore's roads on their delivery runs, thanks to a new partnership between Cycle and Carriage Singapore and delivery and logistics firm DHL Express.
The all-electric powertrain of the Citroen e-Dispatch is expected to bring down the operation costs and carbon emission of DHL's delivery fleet The partnership will ramp up the international express service provider's local sustainability efforts by introducing six Citroen e-Dispatch electric panel vans to their local fleet.
Launched in November 2021, the Citroen e-Dispatch van is powered by an all-electric, zero-emissions powertrain. The vehicle is expected to help DHL Express achieve a substantial reduction in not just carbon emissions, but also operational costs.
