  • Charge+ launches new 120kW chargers here in Singapore

There's now a total of six locations from which you can charge your electric car at 120kW with the launch of new 'Turbo' chargers from Charge+!

Looking for charging options that are faster than 50kW but don't want to drive to Loyang or Braddell?

Well, we have some good news: Charging service provider Charge+ has officially launched its network of fast chargers here in Singapore, capable of charging at up to 120kW!

At 120kW, a Polestar 2 equipped with the 87kWh battery should only take close to 40 minutes to climb from zero to 80% state-of-charge
At that speed, all of you driving the BMW iX3, Polestar 2, or the Porsche Taycan will now be able to fill your batteries in less than hour. Charge+ already has 12 operational fast charging points, with another 22 fast charging points ready by mid-2022. But that's not all.

The firm plans to have at least 50 fast charging points throughout the nation by the end of 2022, alongside 1,000 regular charging points located in both public and private premises by end of this year, and it states it will place a priority on finding locations close to retail, food and beverage outlets, and expressways, as well as free parking locations.

Wanna hookup to the zappiest chargers currently in town? Download the Charge+ app here (on the Google Play Store) or here (for those looking for the Apple App store). Charging costs on the app are currently $0.5283/kW for a 120kW direct current supply, and $0.4362/kW for an alternating current supply (prices as of 17 February 2022).

A list of currently operating fast charging stations from Charge+ is produced below.
