  • Cupra unveils VZ Cup trim for the Leon

    25 Feb 2022

Copper rims and the use of CupBucket seats in the cabin are just the start of the tasty features on the Cupra Leon VZ Cup.

Cupra has revealed a new VZ Cup trim option for the Leon.

Available for both the hatchback five-door and the Sportstourer wagon, the VZ Cup trim adds new high-performance elements to the already sporty vehicle.

The Cupra Leon VZ5 Cup gets 19-inch rims with a copper finish, alongside Dark Alu side skirts
These include the new CupBucket seats, available in either Genuine Black or Petrol Blue leather. First seen on the Cupra Formentor VZ5, these seats offer increased lateral support for a cosseted driving experience. Their rear sides meanwhile, are made from carbon fibre.

These CupBucket seats are also mounted low in the cabin to maximise space and deliver a more ergonomic seating position.

From these seats you'll also be able to note the special edition car's copper-stitched dashboard, also available in either Black or Petrol Blue, while the satellite controls on the steering wheel that start the engine and quickly change to Cupra mode are now standard for VZ trim cars.

And on the exterior, the five-door hatchback gets a copper carbon fibre rear spoiler. Both bodystyles also get Dark Alu side skirts and optional side mirror covers in copper carbon fibre.

Finally, 19-inch alloy wheels with a copper finishing come as standard for the Cupra Leon VZ Cup.
