Following shortly after the launch of the SQ7, Audi Singapore has now announced that the smaller, but equally sporty SQ5 Sportback is now available here on our shores.
Powering this sporty coupe SUV is a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 349bhp and 500Nm of torque. This output sees the Audi SQ5 Sportback able to sprint from zero to 100km/h in just 5.0 seconds, and onto a top speed of 250km/h.
12.3-inch digital instrument cluster pairs with a 10.1-inch central infotainment display in the cabin As is typical of a performance-oriented Audi, the SQ5 Sportback will put its power onto the road via a quattro all-wheel drive system, fed from an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox.
High handling meanwhile, is assured thanks to a five-link suspension at each of the four wheels, alongside the S sport suspension with damper control, which lowers the body by 30mm compared with the regular Q5 Sportback.
And the coupe SUV has the visual aggression to match as well. Up front, you'll notice the honeycomb-pattern grille, while at the rear, the SQ7 wears a diffuser that houses its quad tailpipes.
And in the cabin, the Audi SQ5 Sportback comes equipped with the firm's third-generation modular infotainment system or MIB 3. This system is accessed through the 12.3-inch display of the Audi virtual cockpit plus, supplemented via a head-up display, and working alongside a 10.1-inch touch sensitive central infotainment display.
