The Renault 5 will be built atop a new CMF-B EV platform, which shares 70% of the parts used for the CMF-B platform that underpins the Clio and the Captur. The CMF-B EV platform, Renault additionally states, is 30% cheaper to manufacture than the one found in the Zoe.
