Audi Q3 has become the first SUV model in the brand to receive the RS treatment

The RS Q3 is possessed with 305bhp and 420Nm of torque from the turbocharged 2.5-litre TFSI engine, linked to a seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission. The 1.7 tonne RS Q3 propels to 100km/h in a brisk 5.5 seconds and is capable of hitting an electronically limited 249km/h.

If the SUV is still too 'soft' for your liking, the Audi drive select adaptive dynamics system will provide a sharper throttle response and a more intense soundtrack in dynamic mode.
Like every RS model, the reputable quattro permanent all-wheel drive system underpins the RS Q3 for efficient torque management between the front and rear axles. Braking performance is managed by the perforated 365mm front discs that are gripped by eight-piston callipers - finished in black bearing the RS logo.
Testosterone inducing visual enhancements include a high-gloss black honeycomb grille, RS-styled bumpers and the eye catchy quattro emblem in the air intake. At the rear, a distinctive diffuser and single large elliptical tailpipe contribut to a dominant image on the tarmac together with the roof spoiler and roof rails.
The RS theme continues in the cabin with grey gauges in the instrument cluster featuring white scales and red needles while a contrast rock grey stitching is featured on the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and the gear selector lever.
An optional lunar silver headlining is available while the pedals and foot support are finished in bright aluminium. The standard inlays are finished in piano black, but aluminium race or carbon inlays designed by quattro GmbH are also available as options. With the rear seats folded, the storage capacity can be expanded to 1,261 litres.

Thanks to the standard start-stop system and other technologies, the RS Q3 sets the benchmark in fuel economy for future RS models by returning up to 13.4km/L and emissions output of 206g/km.
