Commuters using the walkway that links the East-West Line to the North-East Line at Outram Park MRT station were hit by a blackout on Monday morning.

Train operator SBS Transit told the local papers that the power trip did not affect train services.

Senior Vice President for SBS Transit Corporate Communications, Ms. Tammy Tan, said staffs were deployed with torch lights to help provide lighting to the walkway. She added that the incident is currently under investigation.
