Honest Review on 2022 November Opel E Vivaro
I have drove this vehicle for 3 years. These are the things that the salesman do not tell you:
1) There is no remote start for this vehicle
2) When you are idling the vehicle with aircon on, the aircon will auto off after 15 minutes and become fan mode. You need to start the vehicle again to turn on the aircon.
3) After 3 years of driving, my mileage is less than 54000km, the battery can only charge to a drivable mileage of 288km. If you drive in normal mode, the battery drops kinda fast.
4) The aircon doesn't maintain the same coolness throughout the drive. I always need to tune it lower to maintain the same coolness.
5) I bought the van in white color, i find the paint is of low quality and it very prone to stone chips and stains.
6) This is important! During charging, you cannot turn on the aircon. If it is raining or very sunny, good luck. If you really need to wait in the van, you can only switch on the fan.... Read More
Vivaro e is a nice van to drive, looks and drive like MPV
Loved the fact that it is an enjoyable vehicle to drive, quiet, works very well with Apple carplay which is much better than Android auto. Cost less than SGD 200 to charge if you own a charger. Works out to almost 10k less money to be spent on fuel. Nice interior and exterior which is nice enough to have a MPV version in Zafira. My main gripe is that at 5metres long, parking and navigating narrow carparks can be stressful. At 1.94m height, many carparks are out of bounds. With maximum range 334km, it is not so good if you have to travel alot but still better than Zafira range of 238km... Read More
