Editorial Reviews

What we like
Well-built interior with well-executed design
Versatile and spacious cabin
Generous equipment list
Nicely-weighted steering (for an electric crossover); easygoing and comfortable on the move
Offers good amount of range for Singapore's roads
What we don’t like
Styling may not hold universal appeal
Brakes are a tad on the sensitive side

Most spacious SUV in this price range
Since my old Corolla Altis COE was expiring in Nov 25, I have been looking around for a replacement car at the beginning of the year. One thing I like most about Altis was its huge boot size. One criterion that I set in the search of a new car was that it must have a huge boot space to accommodate my 2 Carry-All foldable tricycles without having to lower the back of the rear seats. I was recommended to look at this model and was initially quite sceptical, as I thought SUVs, like hatch backs, have small boot size. The sales rep Soloman from Vincar was very helpful and he helped me loaded the 2 Carry-Alls into the boot without lowering the back of the rear seats. I have looked at almost all the other models in the market and have yet to see another model that could fit the same. I have since been driving the new Aion Y Plus for 3 months and have no regret.... SUV that looks like MPV
For this price, it is a winner.
Pros: Looks much better in real life. Drive is decent and acceleration is linear. Build quality is better than i expected.
Cons: Looks like MPV but they call it a SUV. While spacious, there is no 3 row. Start to Struggle at highway speed, drain more than expected on highway.
Very impressive at this price range.... Read More
