An innovative 'SLTA brain' and a full set of screens in the Chrysler Airflow Concept is said to offer all passengers a personalised mobility experience.

Chrysler has unveiled the Airflow concept car at the Consumer Electronics Show 2022.

The Chrysler Airflow concept is said to offer a glimpse into the future of the brand, of which an all-electric vehicle is planned for 2025, alongside a full all-electric lineup by 2028.

Full-width crystal taillights helps to accentuate the width of the Airflow Concept at the rear
The Chrysler Airflow concept sports a low ride height and streamlined, two-tone roof line. A long wheelbase and wide track, along with large 22-inch wheels and tyres, are enhanced visually with Celestial Blue accent colour cladding. The design elements work together to enable a dramatic stance and deliver excellent handling and performance dynamics.

Up in front, the Chrysler wing logo is tied into a cross-car grille and light blade illuminated with crystal LED lighting. While at the rear, a crystal LED taillight runs the full width of the vehicle, accentuating the car's wide stance.

In the cabin, the infotainment screens both front and back appear as gloss black sculptures, seamlessly integrating technology within the overall interior composition.

Those screens are powered by a new software architecture named the 'STLA Brain'. The architecture, Chrysler states, enables software developers to create and update features and services quickly, taking advantage of capabilities built into the cockpit.

All passengers get dedicated screens, allowing them to bring their own personalised digital lifestyle into the vehicle
Over-the-air updates will keep the services in the Chrysler Airflow current and let passengers quickly and easily add new and innovative features.

The displays in the Chrysler Airflow utilise a menu-based format, which will allow the displays to be personalised, simplified and grouped based on individuals and interests. Information on the screens can be shared amongst passengers by swiping.

Each seat also features a built-in camera, enabling occupants to participate in a group video conference call from the comfort of the Airflow cabin.

Seating uses a unique slim structure that rests on a pedestal base, enhancing comfort and roominess while allowing for maximum legroom, shoulder space and personal storage for each passenger.

The concept features all-wheel-drive capability and is powered by two 201bhp electric drive motor at each axle. The battery is designed to achieve a range of up to 644km on a single charge.
