The Bugatti Centodieci which is limited to only 10 units, goes through thousands of hours of testing of every component, and is assembled with great precision.

Bugatti is celebrating one of its most unique creations, the Bugatti Centodieci, and the high levels of involvement Bugatti Test Driver Steve Jenny places into all 10 examples. Jenny is known as the most experienced of all of Bugatti's test drivers. He has driven more than 350,000km in the Bugatti Veyron, Chiron, Divo, Centodieci, as well as the one off La Voiture Noire which was priced at a staggering $26 million.

It is also Steve's job to ensure that every single one of them feels exactly like a Bugatti, which means being free from imperfections.

The Centodieci is finished in 'EB110 Argent' paint, with its interior hand assembled in the Molsheim Atelier
Having been finished in 'EB110 Argent' paint, and with its interior hand assembled in the Molsheim Atelier, Steve takes the utmost care to ensure its finish remains perfect.

Before setting off, the body of the car as well as the seats are carefully protected by the Atelier, as the Centodieci is about to be subjected to one of the most intense pre-delivery inspections ever.

Steve drives through the countryside around Molsheim, normally taking around five hours and covering at least 300km on a variety of different roads and surfaces. Set routes are defined according to the season and regardless of the weather conditions, allowing Steve to consistently judge the attributes of a car.

Steve Jenny is probably the only man in the world who is able to filter out any minute discrepancies between seemingly similar Bugattis
The Centodieci which takes inspiration from the Bugatti EB110 Super Sport, has its W16 engine located underneath an EB110-style glass sheet.

With the engine isolated in this way, the Centodieci possesses a different aural signature to the Chiron Super Sport. This is a quality that Steve must ensure is consistent across each of the ten Centodiecis.

During the test drive, he will check not only for the personality of Centodieci, but also for any minute discrepancies, only evident to Steve, who has unparalleled knowledge of Bugatti's cars.

Once a long list of stringent Bugatti criteria has been fulfilled, will the filter in the gearbox changed, and the final set of wheels fitted. The car is then taken on one final test drive of around 50km, with each car having covered a minimum of 350km, before it is delivered to the customer.
