Bugatti unveils the W16 Mistral "Fly Bug"

Bugatti has showcased its latest Sur Mesure creation: The W16 Mistral "Fly Bug", which joins three other projects - the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse "Hellbug", the Chiron "Hellbee", and the Divo "Lady Bug" - in an exclusive collection.
The W16 Mistral "Fly Bug" is finished in a bespoke paint, Dragonfly Blue, developed specifically for it. This colour shifts between blue and turquoise depending on the light and the angle of view. The same colour is carried through to the wheel rims, matched as closely as possible to the body despite the different materials and paint systems involved.
This marks the first time Bugatti has applied a graphic pattern across both the door panel face and armrest area
This exterior aesthetic is further continued into the cabin, which sees leather laid over Alcantara in a geometric pattern - colour-matched to Dragonfly Blue - that is given a three-dimensional quality through a specialist finishing technique. Notably, this is the first time Bugatti has applied a graphic pattern across both the door panel face and the armrest area.
The integration of the Bugatti Macaron into the ellipse pattern was also one of the project's most demanding technical tasks. The iconic oval emblem, present on the marque's horseshoe grilles for over a century, was woven across its door panels - a first for Bugatti.
Speaking on this creation, Bugatti has said that this marks the completion of something rare: A collection of cars connected by a single, creative vision.
