    As 2020 draws to a close, we check out all the new car models that you can expect to see right here in Singapore in 2021.


    2020 has been a tulmultous year, to say the least. But it hasn't stopped us from checking out some notable cars being launched here, such as hotly anticipated premium compact cars such as the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the Mercedes-Benz GLA and GLB SUVs.

    As we look forward to 2021, here's a rundown of the new models that you can expect to see on our shores soon.

    Alfa Romeo

     

    Stelvio Veloce

    Arriving: Q2 2021

    The Stelvio Veloce joins the Stelvio SUV lineup here. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine making 279bhp and 400Nm of torque, it will sit between the current Super and Quadrifoglio variant offerings of the Stelvio.


    Alpine

     

    A110 S

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    The Alpine A110 S gains an extra 40bhp along with a reworked suspension setup from the base A110. Along with some styling tweaks, the A110 S is expected to offer a sharper and heightened dynamic driving experience.


    Audi

     

    e-tron GEN2

    Arrival: Q2 2021

    Currently undergoing homologation as of press time, technical updates of the Audi e-tron GEN2 include improvements in areas such as thermal management and coasting recuperation. Exact benefits will be revealed at a later date.

     

    e-tron GT

    Arrival: Q4 2021

    The fully-electric e-tron GT is built on the same assembly line as the R8, and will feature cutting-edge production technology. The actual road-going version of the e-tron GT will be revealed globally in the coming months.
     

    e-tron Sportback

    Arrival: Q2 2021

    As the first SUV coupe of the e-tron family, the e-tron Sportback combines the practicality of a spacious fully-electric SUV, with the elegance and style of a four-door coupe.

     

    e-tron S, e-tron S Sportback

    Arrival: Q4 2021

    New S models of the e-tron and e-tron Sportback will also be available. On top of design changes, the S models will feature innovations around the use of three electric motors and suspension technology to offer a dynamic Audi quattro driving experience.

     

    Q2

    Arrival: Q4 2021

    The Audi Q2 seeks to expand Audi's compact offerings here, with styling updates offering it a more progressive look, along with a new 1.5-litre TFSI engine option.

     

    R8

    Arrival: Q2 2021

    Audi's flagship sports car receives an update, featuring new design elements, a revised suspension setup, and will be offered in Singapore for the first time in rear-wheel drive.

     

    RS7 Sportback

    Arrival: Q2 2021

    The Audi RS7 Sportback offers the bold-looking coupe-like silhouette found on the A7, but with a fire-breathing 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 heart.


    Bentley

     

    Bentayga Speed

    Arriving: TBA

    The most powerful variant of Bentley's SUV, the Bentayga Speed, makes 626bhp and 900Nm of torque from its W12 engine, and can complete the century sprint in 3.9 seconds - making it the world's fastest SUV.
     

    Flying Spur V8

    Arriving: TBA

    A 542bhp twin-turbocharged V8 option will be available for the Bentley Flying Spur, and features cylinder-deactivation technology for better fuel economy whilst still promising an exhilarating driving experience.

    BMW

     

    2 Series Coupe

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    BMW is set to expand its premium compact offerings with the BMW 2 Series Coupe, with a global announcement expected in 2021.

    4 Series Convertible

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    Those looking for a dynamic driving along with a hair-billowing BMW experience can look forward to the 4 Series Convertible, with an expected reveal in the first quarter of 2021.
     

    4 Series Gran Coupe

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    Yet to be confirmed, expect the same expressive looks and personality in a four-door coupe format with the 4 Series Gran Coupe.

    iX

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    The iX will be BMW's first fully-electric compact SUV based on its new scalable modular toolkit, and takes its inspiration from the Vision iNEXT concept that was first premiered at the Los Angeles Motor Show in 2018.
     

    iX3

    Arriving: Q3 2021

    First announced in the third quarter of 2020, the BMW iX3 blends emission-free driving pleasure, along the functionality and spaciousness that the popular BMW X3 SUV is known for.
     

    X3

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    The BMW X3 will undergo a mid-cycle facelift that will likely bring styling and equipment updates to the popular mid-sized SUV.

    The coupe-like version of the BMW X3 will also receive a facelift, which will expectedly bring styling tweaks and equipment updates.

    M3 Competition

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    Completing the BMW 3 Series range, the new BMW M3 Competition will offer enthusiasts the unmistakable combination of track-optimised performance and everyday usability in a four-door package.
     

    M4 Competition Coupe

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    Alongside the M3 Competition, the M4 Competition Coupe will also be launched, powered by the same uprated 3.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 503bhp and 650Nm of torque.
     

    M4 Convertible

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    Exhilarating BMW M performance in an open-top setting - the M4 Convertible is set to be officially unveiled in 2021.

    First announced in June 2020, the BMW M5 Competition seeks to blend the business sedan's practicality with unbeatable high performance from its 617bhp 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
     

    X3 M

    In line with the mid-life cycle update for the X3, the BMW X3 M is also expected to benefit from styling and equipment updates.

    The Alpina B3 promises exciting dynamics, precision handling and a superior driving experience, and will be powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six that's good for 449bhp and a whopping 700Nm of torque.
     

    B7

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    Looking for a fast and comfortable BMW 7 Series? Look no further than the Alpina B7. Its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 makes 590bhp and 800Nm of torque, allowing the B7 to complete the century sprint in just 3.6 seconds.
     

    XD3

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    Offering everyday utility and high levels of comfort, the Alpina XD3 is fast - with its quad-turbo 3.0-litre diesel putting out 376bhp and 770Nm of earth-moving torque.
     

    XB7

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    The XB7 is set to please Alpina's most discerning customers, offering a spacious and luxurious eight-seater SUV with an impressive 4.4-litre V8 powerplant delivering 590bhp and 800Nm of torque.

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    A new BYD e6 will arrive on our shores soon, with expected styling improvements along with increased range.

    Formentor

    Arrival: Q2 2021

    The Formentor SUV will be the first car to only be badged as a Cupra. In line with the brand's performance credentials, it's powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, delivering 292bhp and 400Nm of torque.
     

    Leon

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    The all new Cupra Leon will be available in Singapore soon, offering unique Cupra styling tweaks along with a 292bhp 2.0-litre powerplant powering the front wheels.
     

    Leon ST

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    The Cupra Leon ST - or Sportstourer - will also be available here in Singapore, offering those who require added practicality in a wagon bodystyle, along with a healthy dose of Cupra performance.

    Honda

     

    Accord

    Arrival: TBA

    A facelift of the Honda Accord is expected for 2021. It will continue to be powered by a 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo engine.

    Arrival: TBA

    Following the facelift that arrived here back in 2019, a new generation Civic 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo is set to be announced in 2021.

    HR-V

    Arrival: TBA

    A new Honda HR-V is due to break cover in 2021. Preliminary specifications have yet to be revealed, but a HR-V powered by a 1.5-litre intelligent-Multi Mode Drive (i-MMD) powerplant.

    Jazz

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    The all new Honda Jazz will be available officially from Kah Motor soon, and engine options include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated VTEC engine, as well as a 1.5-litre i-MMD powerplant.
     

    Odyssey

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    An updated Honda Odyssey is expected to arrive on our shores, powered by a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated engine.

    i30 Wagon 1.0 Turbo

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    Following the 1.0-litre turbo variant offered in the i30 Hatchback, the i30 Wagon will also stand to benefit from the smaller powerplant.

    Arriving: Q2 2021

    The Hyundai Kona facelift brings about significant styling updates offering it a more upscale and progressive look, and also more practicality with added cargo capacity and rear seat legroom.
     

    Palisade

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    Completing Hyundai's SUV lineup here, the bold-looking Hyundai Palisade is a luxurious, flagship three-row SUV that offers seating for up to eight passengers. More details will be confirmed at a later date.
     

    Santa Fe

    Arriving: Q2 2021

    The new Hyundai Santa Fe will be based on Hyundai's new third generation platform, offering a lighter but stiffer body and an improved driving experience.
     

    Tucson

    Arriving: Q3 2021

    The upcoming Hyundai Tucson will feature a revolutionary design, and will also be based on the company's new third generation platform, which also offers enhanced collision safety.

    Jaguar

     

    F-TYPE

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    The tantalising new Jaguar F-TYPE, with its sporty design changes, will make its appearance in Singapore and will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium engine.


    Jeep

     

    Compass Hybrid

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    Those looking for a greener option from the Jeep brand can look forward to the Compass Hybrid that's slated to arrive towards the end of 2021. It will also be the brand's first plug-in hybrid.
     

    Grand Cherokee

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    The fifth generation of the Jeep Grand Cherokee will expectedly bring about new styling updates and equipment.

    Land Rover

     

    Defender 90

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    Those looking for a smaller Land Rover Defender can look towards the 90 variant, with three doors and a shorter wheelbase compared to the bigger Defender 110.

    Lamborghini

     

    Huracan STO

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    Inspired by the racing heritage of the Lamborghini Squadra Corse one-make race series, the Huracan STO is a road-going supercar that takes inspiration from the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO and GT3 EVO race cars.

    Lexus

     

    ES

    Arrival: Q4 2021

    The Lexus ES is expected to receive a mid-life cycle facelift, and will expectedly bring about styling updates.

    The facelifted Lexus IS recently introduced in Singapore adds added visual aggression and style, and a hybrid option will be available at a later date.

    First announced at the Los Angeles Motor Show in 2019, the convertible version of the Lexus LC will arrive in Singapore, joining the Coupe as aspirational halo models for the entire Lexus lineup here.

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    Internationally announced in July 2020, the updated Lexus LS offers elevated levels of comfort, quietness and overall refinement, with new dynamic improvements.
     

    UX EV

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    Lexus' first fully-electric car will be the UX EV - also known as the UX 300e. The launch underscores the brand's global electrification strategy which targets fundamental leaps in vehicle performance, handling and driver enjoyment.

    Maserati

     

    Ghibli Hybrid

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    The first hybrid for Maserati, the Ghibli Hybrid's 48V system is focused primarily on improving performance, while also reducing fuel consumption and cutting vehicle emissions.
     

    Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo

    Arriving: Q2 2021

    Trofeo variants of the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans will make their appearance here, completing the current lineup that includes the Levante Trofeo.

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    A new variant of the CX-3 will be offered here, powered by a new 1.5-litre engine. Previously, the CX-3 was offered here with a 2.0-litre SkyActiv-G engine.

    Arriving: Q3 2021

    Embracing a hybrid future, details of the McLaren Artura hypercar is expected to be revealed in 2021, and is slated to arrive here later in the year.


    Mercedes-Benz

     

    AMG GT 4-Door

    It hasn't been long since the AMG GT 4-Door was introduced here, but expect to see a mid-life cycle facelift to be announced in 2021.

    First seen here at the Singapore Motor Show back in 2019, the 508's striking looks takes inspiration from a sports coupe, with a sharp side window design and elegant frameless doors.

    Arrival: Q2 2021

    Peugeot is set to extend its crossover lineup here with the compact 2008. Featuring new and distinctive exterior styling elements, the 2008 will also feature a new i-Cockpit 3D digital instrument cluster.

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    The facelifted 3008 SUV is set to arrive in early 2021, and is expected to feature new body colours, updated driving aids and a new i-Cockpit digital instrument cluster.

    The 3008's bigger sibling, the 5008, will also receive a facelift. It is expected to feature the same updates, along with the continued added practicality of being a seven-seater SUV.

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    With over 300km in range according to the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test procedure, the fully-electric ePartner/eExpert commercial vehicle will be a new option for businesses looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

    Renault

     

    Captur

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    The all new Renault Captur will feature a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine that makes 129bhp and 240Nm of torque, along with a largest-in-class boot space of up to 536 litres.
     

    Megane RS

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    A new facelift of the Megane RS is expected to arrive in Singapore in early 2021, and will receive an uprated 1.8-litre turbocharged engine producing 296bhp and 400Nm of torque.

    Seat

     

    Leon

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    The new Seat Leon brings a whole new look, and Singapore will receive a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine option. High-spec variants will offer equipment such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and adaptive suspension.
     

    Leon Sportstourer

    Arrival: Q1 2021

    Also powered by the new 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, the Sportstourer brings wagon practicality to the Leon range, along with the same levels of equipment.

    Skoda

     

    Kamiq

    Arriving: TBA

    The Kamiq will be Skoda's smallest crossover offering, and will share a close resemblance to its Group sibling, the Volkswagen T-Cross. Specifications have yet to be confirmed for Singapore.
     

    Scala

    Arriving: TBA

    With specifications yet to be announced, the Scala hatchback is set to deliver high amounts of equipment, space and value when it arrives here.

    Subaru

     

    BRZ

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    The all new Subaru BRZ continues to deliver a fun drive, with better handling and power coming from its new 2.4-litre naturally aspirated boxer engine.

     

    Forester

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    The Forester will receive a feature update for 2021 with the addition of Driver Monitoring System to its EyeSight safety assistance suite, which monitors driver alertness behind the wheel.
     

    Outback

    Arriving: Q2 2021

    The all new Subaru Outback will be powered by a 2.5-litre direct-injection engine and is built on Subaru's Global Platform, offering improved handling and better fuel efficiency.
     

    XV

    Arriving: Q1 2021

    A redesigned front bumper along with a new Plasma Yellow Pearl colour option will be the visual updates offered on the XV for 2021, but it also receives new drive mode settings via SI-Drive and a Dual X-MODE all-wheel drive selector.

    Toyota

     

    GR Yaris

    Arriving: Q2 2021

    The manual-only Gazoo Racing Yaris is a World Rally Championship homologation model built from the ground up, making it one hot hatchback that's capable of something fast and serious.
     

    GR 86

    Arriving: Q4 2021

    In its second generation, the Gazoo Racing moniker appears in the Toyota 86's nomenclature, with further details yet to be confirmed.

    Arriving: Q2 2021

    The Toyota Harrier receives subtle styling tweaks, and sits atop the brand's New Global Architecture platform, delivering a highly rigid body with a low centre of gravity.

    The most powerful series production Golf of all time, the Golf R makes 310bhp and420Nm of torque from its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine to all four wheels.
