Jaecoo 6 Electric - Comfy and Good Looking Ride!
Was contemplating many options for my first car and decide with j6 without regrets. It's one of the most interesting EVs out there (am sure you will get heads turned!) and fully packed with features! It's a combination of practicality and aesthetics. Downside could be the head unit cluster can get quite confusing and not the most UI Friendly; also couple of bugs and issues here and there, but otherwise nothing serious that cannot be solved and it has been and fun and interesting ride! Credits to SA Serina for assisting me on this journey!... Read More
Mazda 6e Electric - upgrade from Honda Civic, totally different world - no regrets
Was wowed by the car during the announcement in Jan 2026 at expo, waited more than half a year and finally collected my 6e, coming from a Civic turbo. Specs wise I think it is more than enough for SG roads, I think the power is just nice at the sweet spot without being slapped with a high road tax and insurance bill (just a little bit more than my previous car). Good enough to have a little fun on the roads while not being dangerous. Really love the rear wheel drive handling and almost 50-50 weight distribution of the car, suspension is well tuned for our roads as well, not too stiff and not too soft. just Sitting in the car you can feel the modern-ness of it with all the features that my previous car doesn't have. basic things like electric and ventilated seats - the 6e comes with standard equipment with no feature/equipment stripping. the Safety features are not intrusive as well, contradictory to many YouTube reviews from the west. Energy consumption is pretty good as well, was expecting maybe 400+km on a full battery but reached 500 easily and still have about 10% left (70% city, 30% highway). Overall build quality is solid as well, no creaky sounds and all panels are firmly in place. First foray in the EV world and totally no regrets.... Read More
